Hi Matthew, welcome to the reaction network wiki and thanks for your contributions so far. It's good to see some content on the front page! One thing though... I'm told that "reaction networks" cover a broader range of topics than just chemical reaction networks, so the front page will probably be edited to make it more general. Hopefully the current focus on chemical reactions only will motivate the non-CRN people to start editing! --Pdonnell (talk) 15:20, 19 September 2012 (BST)
- Fair enough. Feel free to reorganize as you see fit. I was just putting things on the front page because I hated seeing it barren. -- Mjohnston (talk) 16:04, 19 September 2012 (BST)
- Also, it seems like the German Wikipedia already has a fairly detailed page on chemical reaction network theory available here (or translated here). It is pretty detailed (although not as detailed as I would like this wiki to become). At any rate, I will probably be borrowing some elements from it to get this site off the ground. -- Mjohnston (talk) 03:28, 20 September 2012 (BST)
- Interesting, I hadn't noticed the German Wikipedia page. I wrote an English page on chemical reaction network theory (confusingly with different capitalisation to the German version) a little while back. Since I don't know any German I have no idea how closely the content matches, and obviously it's massively skewed towards my areas of interest. I wonder who Leonard the magnificent beast is? He/she seems to have written most of the content. Pdonnell (talk) 18:00, 15 October 2012 (BST)
